As crazy as starting a stone milling business is, it turns out wheat runs in the family. This is a photo of my great grandfather and his family sitting in their Buick at harvest. This picture was taken around the 1920's in Amenia, North Dakota.
Here is my Grandpa bringing in the wheat harvest on his John Deere in the 1960's.
And now my dad's cousin Dan Zimmerman carries on the tradition (though he's added some acres!). And this is a photo of their most recent harvest. This next year will mark the 100th harvest of wheat on the Zimmerman farm!
